Heather Elton is an ambassador for the London-based stylish yoga clothing brand, Wellicious.

London based lifestyle brand Wellicious was founded by entrepreneur and passionate Yogista Heike Schnell in 2007. Taking inspiration from luxury brands that she has previously worked for, she has combined her love of yoga and fashion hence, giving birth to the idea of Wellicious. As an avid yogista, and a self-confessed fashionista, Heike understands what it is that makes good quality yoga clothes, her passion is apparent throughout the alluringly feminine collection. Each garment has been created to ensure the perfect fit, with flattering details so that every woman feels beautiful. The secret to the unique comfort of Wellicious styles lies in the blend natural fabrics such as organic cotton, Lyocell, and cashmere, all sumptuously soft to wear and easy to care for.

The beauty of Wellicious is that it is incredibly versatile – the contemporary and sophisticated designs are so stylish and comfortable that they are also perfect for everyday wear. Wellicious embraces the yoga ethos and as such ensures all of its products are ethically made in Europe to maintain high working standards and low air miles. Wellicious also supports a number of social projects.

Everything they say about themselves is true. I took some samples with me to Thailand, where I was teaching a 10-day retreat at The Sanctuary in Ko Pangang. They were incredibly comfortable in the heat, both during practice and in life. I could barely take the W2 Brooklyn trousers off and they’ve become an indispensible part of my yoga wardrobe. I love the blue top with it rouched front. Super cool! Obviously I’ve tried out most of the yoga gear out there, and usually wear a mix of the almost indestructible Lululemon crop pants, Sweaty Betty lucious bamboo, super light weight American Vintage tops, and the old item from the dance world. I live in yoga clothes so I need them to be stylish and functional. I ride a bike around London and need to deal with weather. I teach in India and am often in hot climates where I find that any synthetic fabric is too hot and doesn’t breath. Wellicious is an excellent choice for hot climates. Here are a few photos doing asana in the clothes.
